Parking to the rear in Bernard St car park pay and display.
Due to the heritage weekend event being very busy on Saturday, you may have to drop off at the rear on Bernard St and park elsewhere. There is still a short walk from the nearest drop off point.
Both days – Doors open 14:00 and doors close at 14:30 for show to start.
Bar available at interval and the show ends around 16:30. Times may vary.

DRIVING TIPS
From the East (Sheffield) when you arrive in the centre of Glossop on Saturday you will see High St West is closed. Simply turn right onto Norfolk St and take the first open left into the Railway Station car park. Immediately bear left to go to the left of B&M bargains and continue through the car park to the west exit onto Railway St. Take the first right into Bernard St (splits into Edward St) and park in the pay and display car park. On Friday High St West is open and you can go directly to Bernard St using Sat Nav. Note car parks will be very busy.
From the North (Woodhead pass) just before the Glossop Town Centre lights turn right into the Railway Station car park. Immediately bear left to go to the left of B&M bargains and continue through the car park to the west exit onto Railway St. Take the first right into Bernard St (splits into Edward St) and park in the pay and display car park. On Friday High St West is open and you can go directly to Bernard St car park using Sat Nav. Note car parks will be very busy.
From the South come downhill into Glossop Town Centre. On Saturday the High St West will be closed so at the lights go straight on past the closed High St West to your left. After 50m turn left into the Railway Station car park. Immediately bear left to go to the left of B&M bargains and continue through the car park to the west exit onto Railway St. Take the first right into Bernard St (splits into Edward St) and park in the pay and display car park. On Friday High St West is open and you can go directly to Bernard St car park using Sat Nav. Note car parks will be very busy.
From the West (Manchester) on Saturday you will arrive at a road closure on High Street West. Simply turn left onto Arundel St and take the first right onto Bernard St and park in the pay and display. On Friday High St West is open and you can go directly to Bernard St car park using Sat Nav using the same route. Note car parks will be very busy.
There is a ginnel down the side of the Empire from Bernard St leading to the entrance on High Street West.
Alternate Parking
Glossop will be extremely busy with reduced parking because of the Heritage weekend, this may mean Bernard and Edward St car parks are full, but there are alternatives and there are routes around the roads closed for the event, do not worry, just allow extra time.
Note most parking is pay and display. Glossop Supermarket car parks have ANPR with 2 or 3 for limits with automatic fines.
Market Hall car park behind the town hall accessed via Victoria St. Reduced parking due to the event may be available in the pay and display.
Glossop Railway station car park – pay and display 7 minute walk to the Empire
Corn St car park – 12 minute walk to the Empire but likely to be quieter
On Street parking on Howard St or Philip Howard Rd a 10 minute walk to the Empire.
