And the Heritage & Vintage Vehicle and Engine owners – everyone is very welcome to join us at our free not for profit heritage weekend. Commercial, Military, cars, motorbikes, static engines, Traction engines – all welcome!

The superb time & effort you all put into Uniforms, Memorabilia, costumes, props and vehicles is fantastic and greatly appreciated by us.
To reserve a slot in the parade, to walk, march or bring a vintage vehicle of any kind (pre 1980s), or float, simply email us and we will send a welcome pack to you nearer the time with all the information you need on travel, parking, trains, changing, camping, accommodation, parade assembly, maps, contact details, safety advice, programme and much more. It’s all FREE to join in with FREE entertainment all weekend so bring family and friends. We expect over 13,000 people watching the parade in 2026!
Staying over?
There are local hotels & B&Bs in the welcome pack, and we have also negotiated a special DISCOUNTED deal with a local camp site for just £12 pp per night which includes –
free parking, water & showers. Just say Glossop Heritage Weekend on booking . Only 1.3 miles 5 min drive or 22 min walk from the event.

With your name, mobile phone number and your Re-eanctment (e.g. WW2), and whether you want to walk in the parade, or Bring a vehicle or engine, and / or display statically too.
Roads are closed to park up and display afterwards. Tents etc can be pitched on the road, we can provide you a pitch to suit.
It’s all free to attend for everyone!
