Wanted – Re-enactors from all periods, Heritage (Pre 1980s) vehicles of all kinds, Vintage vehicles, vintage commercials, vintage military, and all things steam – all welcome to join the parade and / or static display.

Meet Robbie live for fun stories of life on TV, the canals and his visits to our stunning British towns and countryside.
Friday 29th May and Saturday 30th May 2026 Matinees. Doors open at 14:00. Ticket admission only.

Come and join in the fun. Why not dress up in Heritage clothes and join the parade! In 2026 we are celebrating all things British and British innovations and inventions.

Singers and dancers on stage..Brass Bands, Morris Dancers…Vintage fair, Craft Beer Festival, delicious local food stalls and craft market…..it’s all here…
Our Beer Festival in Norfolk Square has some of the top local beers from the top local breweries and helps us to provide a free to attend event.
All craft real ale as beer should be. Opening at 18:00 on Friday evening we are sure there is something for all real ale aficionados! Plus wines, gins and cocktails too! See our beer menu online here nearer the time! (beers shown may vary)
Re-enactors, schools, scouts, guides, brownies, cadets, steampunk, may queens, and people who love to dress up! Join the parade on Saturday 30th May 2026 at 10:30 am – 12:00 in dress or uniform. The best dressed adult and best dress child will win a prize. (Judged by our lord lieutenant in Norfolk Sq after the parade). To enter simply email us at info@GlossopHeritageWeekend.org saying you wish to parade and we will send you a welcome pack.

If you have less mobile family or friends, bring them to Bradbury House, Market street Glossop from 09:30 a.m Saturday 30th May 2026 for free tea/coffee and cake to listen to choirs and brass bands. Then watch the parade from 11:00a.m. A second matinee is at 14:00 – All Free of charge! Blue badge holders park on Chapel St.
